Canadian Pool Wholesalers Inc. Installation Service

Since our goal is to provide affordable inground, onground and semi inground pools, our installation service is geared to save our customers money.  With the guidance and direction of Canadian Pool Wholesalers Inc., our customers are responsible for purchasing the materials needed to install the pool, that way, our customers SAVE money because we do not mark up any of the materials needed for the installation.  In addition, since the pool is extremely straight forward to install, many of our customers help the installer with the installation process which saves our customers even more money!  Since Canadian Pool Wholesalers Inc. labor fees vary depending on the size of pool and how involved the homeowners will be in the installation process, we can only quote the labor fee on a per pool  basis.

Below is a brief overview of the installation process and materials:

  • 1) Customer contacts an excavator to give a quote on digging the hole and for dirt removal.  For the list of excavators to choose from, please click here.   Approx cost depending on location and size of pool is $2000-3500.  Customer pays excavator directly once excavation has been completed.  Canadian Pool Wholesalers Inc. will visit the house and mark out the pool for the excavator and Canadian Pool Wholesalers Inc. will also have a representative at the dig location on the day of excavation.

  • 2) It is the customers responsibility to obtain all required permits from the city and have all utility mapping completed for the excavation to take place (gas, hydro, phone, cable, water, etc).  Please visit the following website: http://www.on1call.com/

  • 3) Canadian Pool Wholesalers Inc. will then instruct customer of the materials needed to be at the house for installation.  Limestone (approx $500), patio stones ($30), Tamper ($50), The actual ground preparation and assembly of the pool takes approx 1 - 2 days.  Once pool is assembled, the liner is installed and water is put into the pool approx 4 inches in depth.  The pump and filter will then be connected and all plumbing lines will also be connected (approx plumbing materials $200)

  • 4) Next, the customer calls the city to come and inspect the pool.  Once the city approves the pool, the customer will then be instructed to continue filling the pool to below the in wall skimmer line.

  • 5) Canadian Pool Wholesalers Inc. then returns back on an agreed upon date to backfill the pool.  The customer is to have arranged a Bobcat rental to be delivered to the house (approx $500) and to have sand delivered to the house (approx $300).

  • Actual labor costs vary since many customers help out with the actual labor end of the installation, which alters the amount of the labor cost.
